The CCFA has an application, testing and interview process that is utilized to select qualified individuals. Minimum qualifications include a good driving record, being 18 years of age or older, and must pass drug and physical agility tests. If you are accepted as a volunteer firefighter, you will receive expert training and the opportunity to help protect the lives and property of your community. The CCFA welcomes pre-screened volunteers to help the Authority with various non-emergency service activities, including station maintenance and cleaning, event coordination and assistance & general community outreach activities.
